DID YOU KNOW?

Although many associate coffee with Turkey, tea is the country's most commonly drunk hot drink.

Turkish tea is a black tea which is drunk without milk, traditionally served in small tulip-shaped glasses along with sugar cubes.

The tea is usually prepared using two specially design tea kettles called "çaydanlık" which stack on top of one another.

Çay is a product of Turkey, grown on the eastern Black Sea coast, which has a mild climate with high precipitation and fertile soil.
